About project

The client needs a cool website shop for selling perfumes with a subscription. This site should be full of desires and easy implementation, with unique benefits with fresh visuals, which would lead to higher CVR and CTR in the future.

Goals
  • Create a user-friendly and attractive online store that provides information about perfumes and allows customers to browse, choose, and buy them
  • Develop the site on open source tools (Wordpress, WooCommerce)
  • Integrate several payment platforms
  • Coding of the subscription model on the site
  • Implementation of the model of frequent catalog updates
  • Build a website with multi-languages
User Research

We conducted both an analysis of competitor’s websites and the research of the core of website visitors. Based on the research we define the Core TA:

Both Male and Female

18-34 y.o.

Trendsetters, Trailblazers,  Avid travelers.

Trendsetters:

I want to stand out in a crowd;

I seek excitement and novelty in my life;

Expressing who I am is extremely important to me;

Trailblazers (Life Maximizers)

–  I always strive to achieve more in life

The site has to give the target audience the most powerful reason to subscribe to the site. The  top factors to do it are design and being in trend

Onboarding

We create an online shopping platform to provide customers with the opportunity to choose perfume, make online purchases and coordinate online payment and delivery methods.

Home screen

We decided to create an engaging, imaginative website, with large bright pictures, avoiding the boringness of the usual solutions of the catalog store

Features

“Must have”  task was to create a filter on the website to ensure a correct personalized presentation of perfumes.

Features

While working on the site, we added a unique feature – the creation of a personalized perfume calendar, which confirmed to users that by subscribing to the site, they are always unique and on trend.

Features

One more very important task, which has also been successfully solved, is the regular collection of user data and providing users with personalized perfume recommendations.

Results

During this project our team successfully solved several key problems. We created a pixel perfect competitive interface. It implemented complex business logic that did not exist in the plugin market. We coded the subscription model that assumes selection of different product from the catalog. As usual it is the same product with possibly changing quantity. Finally we researched all popular payment platforms and integrated with them. Client also benefited from our choice of open source tools (WordPress) vs non-open (Shopify). Since the launch,the site went from zero to tens of thousands of subscribers at hypersonic speed.
