To gain a comprehensive understanding of how participants interacted with the platform and website, we recruited a diverse group of 50% experienced cryptocurrency traders and 50% novices from different countries The survey involved the questions to be asked before and after the user test. The main tasks of user test were: 

• Verify if users understand how to start trading immediately after registration
• Verify the level of trust potential users have to owner of Platform
• Evaluate users’ perception of benefits and circs of deposits, the clarity of information presented on the site
• Understand the user experience of using a mobile site and the conversion from site to app in a real-world scenario

Key Insights: 

• Users not completely understand the purpose of the platform
• Users had a lot of questions about pricing, fees, and how the platform works
• Some aspects that we thought were an advantage of the platform actually decreased trust in it. For example, login flow and fast payment executions.
• Users believe feedback from real people who use it via different social channels and we can increase trust in the app in this way

During the test we discovered  some inconsistencies in website content and main flows and found hidden issues in website descriptions that decrease trust level in the company, website, and platform.On the other hand, the user test showed excellent technical qualities of the application. 

Our research identified the main competitors, analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of competitive platforms

The main tasks of redesign of the home page were to engage the users, convince them to trust the platform, show how it simply and what exactly the platform is about

The design of the first page was based on the portrait of the target audience obtained during the research

The user’s journey  through the site was built from the tasks and pains they solved and the existing barriers

The fonts, colors, font sizes were supposed to promote trust and easy perception
